May 20: Update on COVID-19 Vaccinations and Treatments

Dr. Ania Wajnberg, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, has held various leadership roles at Mount Sinai and led research into complex patients and high utilizers of medical care. From the start of the
2020 SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, she implemented and oversaw a large
SARS-CoV-2 antibody screening program, and currently oversees Covid testing and vaccination operations at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Kelly Minus is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of experience working with underserved populations and over a decade of experience working with families in the Flatbush community. During the pandemic Dr. Minus transitioned to the NYU Langone Brooklyn Vaccine Center to contribute to ongoing efforts to progress COVID Vaccine Research. She is also one of the leading members of the Vaccine Center’s community engagement efforts where she interfaces with community stakeholders.

Dr. Margaret McCort is on the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore as Assistant Professor of Medicine, in the Division for Infectious Diseases where she specializes in infections in immunocompromised hosts and diagnostic stewardship.
