March 21st-Hope and Hype in Alzheimer’s Research -A Brave New World! (1 CEU)

The past two years have brought the first two disease modifying drugs to market in 18 years! With excitement and renewed hope come the realities and limitations of access, cost, and treatment criteria.

Jed Levine provided an overview of Alzheimer’s drug development to date, what it means for individuals living with the disease and their families, and what’s new on the horizon in drug development, risk-reduction, and models of care and support.

In honor of Social Work Month One (1) Continuing Education Credit (CEU) was made available to New York State Social Workers, processed by CaringKind, and supported by a generous gift from 305 West End Assisted Living.
