Book Discussion Group -9 am to 11 am

Join us for our Annual Book Club Event!

As Part Two of our November event, author Dasha Kiper will join us at 305 West End Assisted Living to discuss reactions to “Travelers to Unimaginable Lands- Stories of Dementia, the Caregiver, and the Human Brain.” Dasha’s work provides explanations of how caregivers’ natural and automatic responses to Dementia behaviors make for further challenges. Her thoughts and ways on better understanding and changing these patterns has enlightened many readers. This will be a chance to discuss and share our experiences.

Don’t miss this in-person meeting with Dasha at 305 West End Avenue with morning refreshments and the chance to discuss the book with the author!

Speaker Information

Dasha Kiper

Dasha has worked for over fifteen years supporting care partners. She shares insights and perspective on why caring for a person with dementia can be so challenging, why care partners continue to engage in patterns —correcting, arguing, taking symptoms personally that they know are counterproductive, and provides profound wisdom on how the healthy brain and the mind of the person with dementia interact.
